This is a special (shorter + sweeter) edition of Yo. You’re on Mute. Outside of the daily grind, we are all caught within the whirlwind of creating our own narratives. We want to thrive, show up, and feel good AF doing so. Today, we are taking a break to acknowledge that.

The Sunday Checklist

I’m not saying daily routines are not important, because they definitely are. Here are a few items on my personal checklist that help kick my Sunday Scaries to the curb.

My inner voice is saying:

πŸ₯— Please meal prep this week (AGAIN). You will be traveling soon and the chicken and waffles will be in abundance in Texas. Also, throw out the bags of unused veggies. Sheesh.

πŸ“† Organize your calendar.  Start your Monday with minimal meetings. Also, if the Philadelphia Eagles lose to the Dallas Cowboys tonight - I’ll be on DND.

πŸ“ Write down your intention for the week. Jot that sh*t down and make it plain. Shout out to my friend Cassandra with her amazing journal I just bought.

🧺 Clean up your space. This will help you feel organized. That laundry on your bed is judging you (and me) riiiiight now. A life hack is to put on some music and SANG your heart out. It’s cathartic, trust me.

The Sunday Reflection

Many of us like to use this time to flow into a self-reflection zone. This section is for anyone who is working hard to find their voice (personally + professionally). We are all working as creatives at this point, and self-discovery is a great way to gain a deeper connection to your goals.

Use these questions to jumpstart your reflection process:
